Why shouldn’t you choose an anti-wrinkle injection expert on price alone?
As with many things in life, price is often a major concern. The first question most people ask about anti-wrinkle injections is “How much do you charge per unit?” Dr. Gavin Chan explains that while this is understandable, a high price per unit won’t guarantee you have an anti-wrinkle injection expert. While a very cheap price will usually mean there’s going to be a compromise in the service or the quality of the medical practice.
With the cost price of anti-wrinkle injections being fairly similar around the world, if you see a price reduction of anti-wrinkle injections, it almost always means there’s a reduction in labour costs. Dr. Gavin Chan notes, “as a patient, you have to weigh up whether a low price per unit with a less skilled Cosmetic Practitioner is worth it. Unlike dermal filler treatment, anti-wrinkle injections cannot be reversed. If you don’t like the results, you’ll have to walk around like this for months and months.”
Where to find an anti-wrinkle injection expert in Melbourne?
Since 2005, Dr. Gavin Chan and his team of highly trained and experienced Cosmetic Doctors and Cosmetic Nurses have been treating patients with anti-wrinkle injections. In the surroundings of the modern medical clinic, you’ll be greeted by a friendly team member who will take photos and a video of your face. This is done in a professional photographic room. Your Cosmetic Doctor or Cosmetic Nurse will then take the time to consult with you before assessing and analysing your face. They’ll then discuss treatment solutions and the amount of anti-wrinkle injection doses required. Before injecting anti-wrinkle injections into your face, they’ll mark up the injection areas. They’ll also use an Accuvein Vein Finder to mark where your veins are. This reduces the likelihood of any bruising occurring during your anti-wrinkle injection treatment.
After your procedure, a review appointment 7 to 14 days later will be booked in. During this appointment, more photos will be taken for your patient record. Call our helpful and friendly customer service team today to book an expert anti-wrinkle injection treatment 1300 863 824.

How do Anti-Wrinkle Injections and Dermal Fillers work?
Although both Anti-Wrinkle Injections Melbourne and Dermal Fillers can be used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, they go about it in different ways.
Anti-Wrinkle Injections into the muscles of the face and other areas cause those areas to relax by blocking nerve transmissions. This relaxation has the effect of making the skin appear smoother and wrinkles less prominent.
Dermal Fillers, on the other hand, smooth away the wrinkles by effectively filling them in. The injections help to restore some of the skin’s youthful plumpness. Dermal fillers can also be used in adding volume to areas of the face which appear sunken or thin, such as the cheeks or lips.
What areas can Anti-Wrinkle Injections and Dermal Fillers be used to treat?
Anti-Wrinkle Injections are best known for their role in relaxing lines on the face, including forehead wrinkles and creases and lines around the eyes and mouth such as crow’s feet and laughter lines. Anti-Wrinkle Injections can also be used on creases in the skin directly above the nose (which can give the incorrect appearance of frowning).
Perhaps less famously, Anti-Wrinkle Injections can also be used on the skin of the underarms in order to reduce and prevent hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating.
Dermal Fillers can treat a wide range of areas on the face including plumping up lips to give them a fuller and more defined shape, adding volume back to the cheeks to counter the effects of illness or aging or minimizing the visibility of scars including those caused by acne.
Fillers can also target similar wrinkles, lines and creases to those covered by Anti-Wrinkle Injections, such as the naso-labial lines between the nose and mouth, forehead wrinkles, ‘frown lines’ just above the nose, crow’s feet, laughter lines and marionette lines which run own the chin from the corners of the mouth.
